Pumpkin Bread with Cinnamon Honey Butter

Soft and spicy pumpkin bread served with a creamy cinnamon honey butter.
Servings 1 loaf

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Cinnamon Honey Butter

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, stir together eggs, pumpkin, oil and water.
  • Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for about 10 minutes before moving to wire rack to cool completely.

Cinnamon Honey Butter

  • In a mixing bowl, beat butter until creamy.
  • Stir in honey, powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  • Spread honey butter onto warm slices of pumpkin bread!
